HIGH FLYING FOODS
For the past couple of years I’ve worked with High Flying Foods, a San Francisco-based company which facilitates the process of installing and managing local restaurants into major airports. The project images are the stories of a space and its details, the food and drinks that are served, and the people behind it.
What might normally be a simple location shoot adds the extra hoops of security clearance and often shooting overnight, when the busy airport is closed. We try to keep a light footprint with a small crew and lots of logistical planning beforehand to pull off the shoot. They are always an adventure, and they’ve taken me from San Francisco’s Financial District, to the international concourse at SFO to the web of underground service tunnels of Denver’s Airport.
